Leveling kit and towing question

Not sure where to ask this as its about suspension and towing, but it is on 06 so i figured here has the most traffic.
truck is an 06 fx4. 5.4 with stock suspension, i am considering a leveling kit to lose the rake, but womdering if it would have any adverse affects whilst towing? Boat and trailer come in right around 5500 lbs and when attached now i dont notice amy sagging, but dont want truck running nose high when i am.towing.... should i leave well enough alone?
Another factor is moat of my towing is just local to ramps etc, but once a year it would be a longer haul, ie from orlando to the keys, so am i wasting my time?
thanks in advance

If you do put a leveling kit in, I'd use a weight distribution hitch and/or airbags in the rear.

I tow a small 18ft boat with a level kit, no issues.

I have pretty much the same set up with an 05 4x4 with a 2.5 " level and 1.5" add a leaf in the rear. Like you I wanted some lift without the nose high rake with the my 5500 pound boat set up. I pull 5 -8 thousand miles each summer for the past 12 years with no issues and a factory ride the rest of the time. The only thing I suggest is good quality shocks all the way around, I went with the Bilstein yellows and couldn't be happier. Bags and specialty hitches are great for heavier pulls but would be expensive and over kill in this case.
