What are they offering it for?

Where did the truck live it's life?

What do you feel like paying for it?

For me, I wouldn't touch a 3v 5.4... Just like some won't touch an Ecoboost..

So, I get it... Each to their own.

Anyway, no way we can tell you anything without more info.

We are sitting at just about 17 out the door so not to far off, I looked at kbb but it's not really a relevant source anymore, trucks seem to be more valuable here in WA vs other states, also the long beds and this low of milage are hard to find so getting an accurate price is difficult. Thanks for the replys

I'd still think long and hard before buying a truck with a 5.4 3 valve. Regardless of mileage, 17 grand for a 11 year old truck is pretty steep. I'd take a 2011 with a 5.0 with twice the mileage over that.

If the engine does not idle quietly, take a pass. If the cam phasers are clattering, forget it. Try to get the dealer to replace the spark plugs and do a 5W20 oil change as part of the deal.

17 seems a little high and you are correct, kbb and others are not a relevant source for trade value anymore. Anyone in the business uses a wholesale computer network for sales respective to their immediate area.

Regardless of the engine, it really depends on condition of the vehicle and options. I do know that most outlets are very lucky to get that type of truck with low miles if it is in good condition, they know it will bring more than your typical 07. Really comes down to what it's worth to you or the bank if you are going to finance it.

GLC is correct, have them replace the plugs and oil change as part of the deal and if it is making the phaser tick, walk away.

Yep, make sure that engine is quiet as a mouse. If it isn't you may be looking at some big repair bills.

Yikes, $17k for a 11 year old used pickup truck with 65k... I'd pass on that one.

Don't buy it, even if the seller wants a thousand for it. I paid $22,000 for a 2008 with 28,000mls. in 2011, now 2018, i put in over $8,000 in repairs and I babied it!!!

So what did you end up doing?! Good rule of thumb, along with looking at NADA and KBB I always look at Autolist.com/Ford for price comparisons .

I wouldn't take 17 for my '07 with 62 K.

Just my word on subject.
