I went to firestone last month and they did a coolant flush, i was hoping the degas would cleaned out to, but it didn't.
​​​​​Do you guys think i could take the bottom hose of the degas let it drain and spray the inside good and clean off the walls. Put the hose back on and fill with 50/50 would be ok? Thanks

 

As long as you flushed all the cleaner whatever you used out completely it won't hurt anything. I don't know what a good cleaner would be for that application. But the bottle is plastic and probably impervious to the cleaners.

 

Thanks Roadie. Im not gonna redo the flush just taking off the bottom hose of the degas resevoir and using the hose nozzle on full blast to clean out the crap. Reconnect the hise and top off with 50/50. I think that should be good.
