Please, please help. I'm completely lost. How does this rack come out!?
Guys, i need help, and I swear I've searched every f-150 forum there is, and youtube, and there is absolutely NO info on this. It just doesn't exist, period.
I'm removing the rack from my '04 5.4 FX4. All 4 bolts are removed, all lines, and the steering shaft. There is NO WAY this thing can come out of the truck. It hits the mounts welded to the frame. I just don't see how this could ever be expected to come out.
Any tips or tricks that I'm missing? It should come out from the drivers side, correct?
Please help me, I'm losing my mind!

I haven't personally done one, but I did look up the instructions on AllData
Shows removing inner tie rod from RH side
Then the rack comes out through the Driver side wheel well

I didn't realize yesterday that one of the lines that was removed from it was actually stuck between the other two lines and 'hanging' it up. But, even after I freed that up, it still wouldn't come out fully.. came to realize that the two bolts holding the front of the skid plate on had to be removed, and then you could pull down the side plate just enough so the whole rack would come out.
YAY, finally!
