Is this normal???
Ford put new battery in 2012 and it's now act up and struggle to start the motor (all gauge act up) is about to die.
I guess it's time to get new one..

I buy only the Walmart MAXX batteries. They come with a no hassle 3 year warranty and after that it's prorated. I've had a couple over the decades that were bad and it was a no hassle exchange. The batteries are made by Johnson Controls who makes most of the batteries you buy, just different names on the outside.
If you're interested, here's a list of who makes what.

Yeah that's normal life expectancy on batteries.
X2 on the walmart everstart maxxs, I've had mine in the truck since 2011. Knock on wood I expect it to give out before winter or once the cold hits atleast.

On my "collector vehicles" I run Motorcraft batteries just to keep the engine bays "all Ford" -- but for my daily drivers I run the Walmart Maxx's and have found them to be very reliable for the price.
