PCM issues
Ok Here I go,
The Original problem(s) with my 2007 F-150 Crew cab 5.4L Lariat was the KAM (Keep Alive Memory)/ Climate control fuse kept blowing. After replacing the fuse the last time nothing came back on. After doing a lot of digging on the internet I replaced the PCM as a fix for this problem. I coded the keys that came with the new PCM also one of the original keys. The truck started just fine. I shut the truck off after letting it run for 10 mins or so. I started to look at some of the wires around the fuse box and behind the climate controls. Mostly to see the colors of the wires used so i could trace them to see if i could see a short in the wiring. after maybe 10 mins of looking i gave up. I looked up and realized i left the key on. I went to started to let the battery charge back up. Nothing happen. Like a dead battery. Not even a slow drone of a cranking starter. The battery is brand new by the way. I put my fully charged jump box on it. Still nothing. I even re-installed the old PCM to see if that would salve things. No luck. I am very frustrated.
