Crown Vic Fuel Pump Driver Module is mounted in the trunk and looks similar to the our FPDM. Do they interchange? Looks like the Dorman number is the same. $10-$20 at a u-pull. Might be a cheap way to fix a common problem.

 

Good tip if it's true -- shouldn't be any corrosion issues on an older unit if they're mounted in the trunk.....

 

I would imagine theyre interchangeable, Ford likes to use common parts to multiple vehicles when possible
