Twice I have had to put my 06 STX 4.6L in the shop for a blown spark plug. Is this a common problem and what's the long term fix outside of buying a new motor/truck.
The long term fix is to torque the plugs to 28 ft. lbs. Most also recommend against using anti-seize on the threads. If it blows out, utilize a time sert or lock-n-stitch to repair, NOT a helicoil.
