Aftermarket muffler that isn't too obnoxious?

I guess myself.. Do they sell hangers that you can weld in yourself?

I would keep factory hangers and factory over the axle pipe. Hard to beat the fit and finish of the factory exhaust

Just buy a muffler by itself, and have it connected in place of the factory one.

But aren't the factory hangers welded to the factory muffler itself? Plus, there's a big length difference between the factory muffler and the aftermarket muffler.

had the same issue as you. Ended up going with the 22" magnaflow si/so and I love it. Nice tune but still quiet when driving

I had and MBRP muffler on my last truck it sounded great when I ran it just barely out past the bumper. It sounded good not to loud.
