Knocking/clicking sound at low rpm's
Hello all,
Just recently experienced this issue where my engine makes this knocking sound while at low rpm's and while the engine is hot. Oil pressure stays normal and no check engine lights or other error codes are going off. First heard it while going in reverse around 500 to 800 rpm's. I do not know if this is my cam phasers going bad? I have always had the general clicking sound the 5.4 makes at startup that goes away and then goes away after a second or two. I don't know what to think of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
