Do we have engine block ground?

Do we have an engine block ground cable on our 5.4's? I gave a quick look and dont see it. I followed the ground from the battery all the way down to the starter and it only branches off once, to a frame ground. What am I missing?

Not sure about your year but I think some of them had a ground cable from the rear of the engine to the firewall. We've been talking about it in another thread. "grounding wire?" thread here <https://www.f150online.com/forums/2004-2008-f-150/512837-grounding-wire.html>. A lot of engines ground to the block via one of the mounting bolts for the starter. I'm guessing that your's does too.

I was OP of that thread

I think there might be a pic of the firewall mount in that thread, in case OP is looking for it.
