Engine swap

New to forum. I just changed the engine in my 07. It appears to be an 05 engine. 50,000 miles. It has a slight hesitation/miss when getting into the throttle. No codes. Any suggestions where to look? Does this engine have to adapt to the ECU?

Hi, Dumas - welcome to the forum. I deleted the other thread you started on this topic since multiple threads lead to confusing responses that can waste your time and cost you money.

Just a question, could the hesitation be the transmission shifting down in response to you flooring the accelerator? There's always SOME delay while that happens.

No. I can have the transmission in park and just do a quick rev of the engine and it still does it.
