Tire question

Just acquired new rims and tires.

Rims; Eagle 012 rims specifically: 0128-8993 with rubbers that are 285-70-17

Tires are BF ALL-TERRAIN K0

I have two general ideas on how to proceed.

3 out of the 4 tires are good. one tire has sidewall puncture. I would like to get a replacement either k0 or k02 for it.

That being said, tires sit at about 75% tread life. I have a 2008 f-150 super crew 4x4

I am wondering, if I replace the tire with brand new, is the wear to low on the tire that will throw a problem for the 4x4 ?

Would it hurt to replace two and get two K0'2's or just get another k0 and away i go.

Thoughts?

Thanks guys.

75% remaining on three? Put a new one on right rear as it usually wears a little faster as we make more hard right turns from stop signs as we accelerate. Even when not spinning, the limited slip tightens up some and if one rear slips or scuffs the pavement, it'll be that inside rear.

The difference between 75% and 100% tread depth is 2 or 3 /32nds, insignificant in the scope of things.

If that doesn't sit well with you ..... buy two and put them on the same axle and put the other two "best of three" on the other axle and keep odd one as a spare. With 75% tread left on two, if no excessive shoulder wear, doesn't matter which go on which axle.
