Is this normal?

Hello Everyone,

I notice under The Used 2008 XL Supercab I bought last week these reinforcements near where the door is on the frame...Is this normal...I see no rust anywhere.

Thanks,

Mike

In 2004 Ford went to the "fully boxed frame" which is built different, and appears different than older trucks you may have had in the past
