Fearing the worst that im gonna need a new motor. Has anyone swapped a raptor motor in one of these? Looking for anyone with experience in this. Or do i just put the 5.4 back in it. 133k miles 05 lariat.

 

More research has shown this is not the route I want to take...

 

I only know about one, it's been swapped with an eco boost. Lots of fab work to get it to work. The guy also had a donor truck, that had been wrote off. Swapped everything under the hood, plus trans, dash, and every harness.

 

The Raptor has a 6.2 V8, Next Gen Raptor is going to get a Gen II 3.5 Ecoboost. Pick your poison. Either one will be a bear to make work unless you have very deep pockets!
