Angry Rattling sound from engine after sudden stops or making a hard fast turn.

Well this morning on my way home from work in the morning rush hour traffic. Had to stop for a light and stopped fairly quickly and the engine started to rattle real bad for a few seconds before going to normal idle. Also when making turns sometimes the engine will rattle in the middle of the turn after I been off the gas during the turn. I think it might be the cam phasers as the engine is a little louder at idle as well. Truck has 195,500+ miles on it. If it is the cam phasers I might just trade it in. I been thinking of getting something new but was hoping to get it to 200k before I did. But with the cam phasers It might be time to get rid of it now.

Oil level was good when I checked it last week and only drove about 700 miles since I last checked the oil. Truck is about due for a oil change as I go about 5k miles give or take a couple hundred miles and it is almost 5k since the last one.

are you sure it's valvetrain?

I wonder if it's the same rattle an old ford ltd I owned made. almost like it was lugging.

mine was timing related. set it, it still did it, just not as bad. switched to higher grade gas, she sounded perfect.

Are you sure it isn't from something like a heat shield or maybe a busted up cat?

Do you have any CEL?

There was no CEL. I checked the oil level this morning it was about a quart low so put in a quart and drove around a bit. No rattle when making turns or hard braking today after the oil was added.
