2004 f150 timing replacement question?
Hello
I am currently in the middle of doing a timing job on the 5.4 3v. I have installed all new OEM components. New phasers, tensioners, chains, and guides. Everything was torqued to spec but forgot to use loctite on bolts inside timing cover. Should this be a problem?
Also when I removed the chains, the passenger cam moved quite a bit. Even if a valve made contact to a piston, would this cause an issue?
Thanks for any info on this

as long as you have everything torqued to spec you should be fine their. the cam turned due to the position it was in and spring pressure of the valves. since the engine wasn't running you shouldn't have hurt anything as long as you timed every thing on reassembly and didn't rotate the crank
