starter solenoid issues

Hello -
Having some issues with my 06' f150 xlt.
Just replaced the starter and a new battery.
Seemed to run fine for a few days until yesterday I started hearing a buzzing noise coming from the fuse box and it died. Still buzzing while dead with key off. Narrowed it down to the starter solenoid relay. Pull the relay and the noise stops. Started swapping the other relays and did get it to start, but still buzzing.
I could feel a little moisture on the carpet by the fuse box .. none I could feel inside the fuse box.
The truck doesn't get driven much and parked outside .. only 95K miles
Checked all battery connections and they are good ...

Also - new fuel pump module and randomly the security system wouldn't read the chipped key the other day so I bought a new one and re-programmed code

any ideas??

Thank you,

Andy

There's a known leak behind the fuse block. Water can get on the fuse block and do all kinds of damage. Search for "passenger side leak," and you'll find tons of posts and threads with solutions and a Ford TSB. Good luck man!
