i have an 05 f150 super crew lariat. it has the jump seat in the front instead of a full center console. I want to do a conversion but i'm concerned about the how the shifter would have to be moved from the column to do center console. how would i accomplish this? has anyone done this, know someone who has, or know a thread about it?

Anything is possible. I used a 2006 shifter in my 2003 truck that was never even an option to be setup in the console.

There are a few members that have done it. It's called a "flow through" console

Depending on how much you want to do and how factory you want it to look, the dash needs to be changed out. Or you can make a filler plate extension for where the console meets the base of the dash.

The original guy that did it was "FX4 excursion " or similar screen name
