Shined her up yesterday ....

It had been awhile .... she was getting good and dusty. A few spray washes is all she's had since Spring .... and truthfully she looked OK, water still beeded up some .... so Thursday night I washed her real good, used a blower followed by a microfiber drying towel ..... and the Friday morning I detailed her. Liquid Ice, Super 303 Protectant, Ru Glide, vacuum, Stoners WC, done. Also did "Wife Unit"'s Forester while at it. Mustang and Merc were done last week along with both T-birds.

The dark grey wheel opening arches had started turning grey and the windshield cowling had lightened as well. The plastic step pads around the rear were showing some dryness in the recesses as were the step pads on the step rails. That Super 303 cured all of that ..... it last 6 - 8 months, maybe because most of the time the truck is out of the sun in it's carport bay.

I like the black and red combo! Black wheels would make it even better!

Thanks ..... and I know we all do this on occasion ...... I also know it's a lot of work for us all ...... and so it seems that there is very little harm in occasionally "crowing" about it.

I think if you're going that direction, I'd go with the gunmetal grey that matches your paint. It would really set it off, moreso than black. I think it looks good as-is too, becuase of the exhaust and side steps being chrome/metal.
