Best mod route for a 2007 5.4L FX4?

Hello all. I am getting ready to tune the truck. 99% sure I am going with a SCT from MPT Performance. Right now the truck has 135K miles and we did the basic tune up and everything about 15K miles ago. The truck has Borla Dual exiting exhaust and a high flow cat mid pipe. Also has 35s and a leveling kit.

We use the truck for deer hunting and towing a camper and pontoon boat. In addition to the tune anything else you recommend? The Cold air intake seems like a waste but maybe I am just reading in the wrong places. Not doing a blower or anything just some bolt ons.

Also which three tunes do most people get? The normal 87 Octane driving tune, a tune for towing, and what for the third? It is not raced but we do have E85 around here so not sure if it is worth it.

Do the Gotts mod and call it good.

You can do the Gotts mod, or leave it stock. You won't likely see any significant difference between them. You can get the SCT tuner, and most just leave it on the towing tune or 87 perf. I'd bypass anything that uses e85, whether it's available or not.

Think we will do full CAI like the S&B one with the tune. Anything else worth getting? Long tunes get you any noticeable power. Been googling looking for HP/TQ claims with long tubes and see no claims just that people see increases.
