Rust hole in bed

Took out the bedliner today, noticed a hole about the size of a silver dollar right on the floor of the bed..... This truck has rust underneath as well.

I por15 all the rust underneath as well as the hole(both sides) in the bed.

What else should I do? I assume that's all I can do for now, I don't think it will stop but spread unfortunately.

Should I have a body shop cut out the section and weld in a panel? Or should I just leave it with the por15?

I guess it all depends on how long you want to keep the truck and what you are using it for. I mean, it's already 10-years-old and if you're planning on using it as a daily driver work truck, I'd probably just POR it to slow the spread and run the thing into the ground. Even with some cancer starting, I'm not sure the truck would be rendered unusable for quite some time.....

Paint job looks like crap but it will be under a liner so I don't care, dirt blew on it while it was drying....

I'm going to spray it again with rustoleum as a top coat later......

I don't think I'd sweat that too much -- just check it every year or so and re-spray it to minimize the spread. I remember my dad's work trucks back in the '70's being WAY worse than that and we got along just fine.
