Where in a 2005 F-150 FX-4 would I find the build sheet?
The title pretty much spells it out, colour me curious, I know all about my truck from running the VIN with the VIN decoder, I just want to see everything about it.
So does anyone know where the build sheet would be?
Build sheets are not going to be found in most modern vehicles. They were a product of "pre-technology" manufacturing when the line worker had to look at a sheet of paper to determine which steering wheel he was supposed to put in a car as it rolled by his station. Now most of these decisions are programmed by computer at the factory and the correct component is simply placed in its proper location in a queue of parts -- all the assembly line worker has to do is grab the next part off the line and he should be good to go.

I think the only issue with that is 2006 and older are not available. I found my 2007 truck window sticker on there but I tried with my previous 2004 and was unsuccessful.
When I used to run the Hankook highway tires, I averaged 21-23 mpg doing 69 mph.
Now I am running these General Grabber AT2, and now getting 16-17 mpg.
Tires make a huge difference in fuel economy.
That's a pretty big hit. When I had LT265/70-17 my mileage went down. Now that I went back to p245/70-17, im back where I was before (about 21 highway, 16-17 city) I had the 245/70-17 Firestone AT's before the bigger tires too. That's why I went back.
