pillar handle issue

pillar handle issue

So i use my handle to get in and out of the truck. This morning went to get in and the pillar came loose. Anyone, have the happen?

There's some threads about that ....... I find I don't need to pull on it with just a 2" lowering of the truck but wife uses hers gently.

Common issue on the '04+ trucks that shouldn't be hard to repair -- I think it's just bolt-off/bolt on.....????

There are 2 plastic covers you pry off to reveal 2 bolts. That's it.

The fix is to buy a new one.

Like everyone said, unbolt the broken one and bolt in the new one.

IIRC they aren't expensive.

Checked on ebay and they are not that cheap 70-80 bucks! Seems expensive to me...lol
