Catalytic converter code??

I have a 06 Ford F150 130k miles. I had an o2 code pop up I replace both. Then catalytic converter code popped up, so I replaced the converters. They have cleared the code and I have also cleared the code many times by unhooking the battery and it keeps coming back on. Spark plugs have been replaced at 115k. I need to replace the cops. It runs rough at idle at times. Thats bout it. The light drives me nuts. Any thoughts?????? Thanks.

Assuming you are getting a P0420 or 0430...

I have lived with this for a few years now...my understanding is these codes are tripped due to the switching frequency or rate between the front and rear O2 sensors...indicating a bad catalytic converter...if cat is bad rear sensor is changing frequently, when cat is good rear sensor doesn't change as fast...

I personally did the Gotts O2 mod with the spark plug non-fouler on my drivers side cat about 4K miles ago, and no codes...is the cat still bad...yup, just not seeing a check driver light...we will see if it passes smog in August...

Regards!

You need to post the exact code numbers you have been getting.
