Shock replacement advice

As recommended by a few members here, I’m looking to replace the shocks on my 2005 F150 Lariat SuperCrew with 109,000 miles. The most important thing to me is a smooth ride. I never take it off road and only tow a tent trailer a few times a year. Whatever shocks I pick can’t raise the height of the truck because it barely fits in my garage as it is.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

I'm bias.
Look to our stock height ones
RS999767
RS999286
Since you mentioned towing, these are a popular choice since you can adjust, by turning the **** at the base, to have a soft or firm ride.
March 1st is when our rebate starts.

Good luck in your choice!

If you want to do it yourself, you way also want to look into some complete coilover assemblies. Does Rancho make them? It's alot easier, no spring compressor needed, they just pop in. Could raise your front end just a hair as your current springs have worn and settled. But no taller than it was when new.

The rear are easy. You don't even need to take the wheels off or jack up the truck.

Not too get too carried away, but you may as well at least do your upper ball joints / control arms since you have to remove them to take out / put in the new coilovers / shocks. Just a thought.

Talking

We do make the quickLIFT LOADED but it would raise the front about roughly 2.5" and I don't want the headache of him hitting his garage.

Also good info in the last paragraph.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew you guys offered the quicklift stuff, but I wasn't sure about stock hight.

I'm running the quicklift on my 07 and I was also worried about clearing my low garage, it didn't really change the height that much. It looks a lot higher looking at the gap between fender and tire but I still have the same amount of space as I did before when I pull in. Just my .02 though. They were easy to install and easy to adjust

Can you confirm that these shocks have a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser? On the web site it mentions "Rancho® RS9000XL™ extended length and coil-over shock absorbers carry a 90-Day Limited Warranty.

Wink

Yep these P/N's are not the type of coil over we are calling out nor are these extended lengths. Think rock buggy on these parts being called out.

The P/N's I listed are covered by our limited lifetime warranty.
Save your receipt.

The parts that aren't covered by our limited lifetime warranty look like this.

Hope this clears it up.

Thanks, that does clear it up for me.
Two more questions:
Are the front and rear shocks easy to adjusted once they are installed?
How long will you be offering the rebate?

Not hard at all to adjust.
Fronts a tad easier, just turn the wheel.
Rears, just bend over and turn it.
Shocks must be purchased on or before June 30, 2015.
I always suggest earlier to get the rebate quicker.
Thanks!

I'm also on the market for new complete kits I think I may get the quick lift loaded but I'm hesitant because I have a HBS spacer on now and love the height. I wish I knew it would match apples to apples with my current setup before I have to do some rigging to get it back where I want it. Decisions decisions!!!

If I buy them from Amazon do I still get the rebate?

Glad someone else asked the same question I needed info for!!!

Ryan.
