Need some advice

Hello all
I'm a little new to the forum, i was wondering if you guys could help...
I got a 2007 f150 crew w5.4 stock suspension (no lift) 4 wheel drive and would like to know the following; what is the largest most aggressive wheel and tire combo I could put on while staying with the stock suspension?
If I would have to lift it what do you recommend as I would like to stay as close to stock height as possible.
Also I would like to get more power and torque out of the truck, (no towing she just feels slow) would intake, headers, exhaust and tune combo be worth the expense? I would really like to get close to at least 400hp or so as I feel the truck has no ***** in its current state.
Any specific suggestions you guys could give me I would really appreciate,
Thanks

Tires: you should be able to fit 33x12.5 on your stock rim without any level or lift.
I have the duratracs they are a pretty aggressive A/T.

Power:
I highly doubt you'll find 400 horses with just bolt ons. The main reason it feels slow is because of the drive by wire system. A simple tune will fix this immediately..

If you have the money this is what your setup should be. Intake- Gotts intake mod, headers- OBX long tube headers, cats - either reuse your OEM cats if possible or get some Magnaflow high flow cats, exhaust - replace stock Y pipe with Magnaflow 2.5" in 3" out. Y pipe and run a single straight thru muffler of choice. Tune- go to morepowertuning.com and purchase one of their SCT tuners and get yourself free custom tunes to go with it. This should bring all the mods you have done all together as one and take full advantage of everything.
Never hurts to start with preventative maintenance tho, like changing the plugs (motorcraft or champion) oil change, fuel filter change, air filter, dif fluid , trans fluid, clean the throttle body.. So on and so forth

Good luck

33x12.5 Mud terrains will be it. 35s if you level the front 2"

400hp engine or wheel? Only you can say if it's worth it or not for the $$$. Most cost efficient is a supercharger. (technically still a bolt on )

Otherwise get a good tuner first ( I'm partial to SCT with 5 Star tunes), then do the intake, headers and exhaust might get you up to 350hp at the crank. Though the crappy 4-speed trans isn't doing you any favors either.

To add to the above, All of the gains will be in the custom tuning.

All the other mods are 'feel-good' only - no power/perf improvements.

Hence - I'd forgo wasting $$$ on intake/exhaust and redirect that towards a gear swap fund.

Yer statement is a bit of a non-sequitur - increasing unsprung weight/rolling resistance and rotational inertia is just going to make yer truck even more of a dawg. Yet, you wish to do this and still complain aboot said 'dawginess' ?

Custom tuning + gear swap = a happy owner

BTW - maintenance? There is a lot to consider: https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ml#post5106400

Good luck
