I have an 06 extended cab, lariat 4x4. leather interior. inside and outside is in perfect condition. its got magnaflow exhaust. its got the 5.4 and 3.73 gears. it has a 2.5 inch leveling kit and 34" toyo mt's with 3/4 of there tread. I just put new timing chains, tensioners and guides on it. its got 199,000 miles on it

the downside; it needs new lash adjusters. it still rattles when you start it till it builds oil pressure. and it needs a rear end re build.

Nada Guide and KBB is all that will work. People will only offer under those values, and the over sized tires look more negative than a positive to most detailed buyers as 'power train strain'.

 

let me ask you this, it asks for condition. however what they include under condition is some body conditions and mechanical conditions. mine just has mechanical conditions. giving this information, would you consider my truck fair condition? since its got an excellent body and interior?

 

It's worth "good" minus what it would cost to fix the issues.

 

how much is a rear end rebuild and to replace the lash adjusters?

 

5.4L lash adjusters vary by mechanic but tend to be on the costly side. A few hundred in labor at least. Rear end, not so sure. Could possibly snag the same rear end in a salvage yard truck and put it in place. Could be a more affordable alternative than opening the current one.
