The gas smell is now an exhaust smell in the cabin.
The dealer has checked thoroughly and has concluded that the Left side exhaust manifold has a crack and thus the smell in cabin.

For now, I press the circulation button on the panel and no outside smells come in.
That's the lil car symbol with the circular arrow in it

Anyone else experiencing this?
Looks like an exhaust manifold is on the to do list.

You mean cracked manifolds, or broken exhaust manifold studs (which compromise the seal and result in the same thing).

Yep - it's not uncommon. Replacement is the only solution for cracked manifolds. Stud replacement usually requires manifold removal to extract the broken stud. Labour-intensive in both cases.

good luck

Yes the LH exhaust manifold has a crack And broken studs
I'm told.
It has to be done. The fumes do come in the cabin.

PS
Dealer said the engine needs to be lifted to gain access

i didn't know they had to raise the motor for the drivers side exhaust manifold. these trucks are more notorious for right manifold issues. usually they warp and break off the bolts.cracks are less rare. if it were me and they are going to raise the motor to do the job i would get a price on doing both sides while it's apart.
