extang trifecta

Anyone have this issue?

I have a 3 month old extang trifold. When installed, the seals by the cap and tailgate cannot both be properly seated. It seems like the cover is too short by 0.5 to 1 inch. If I seat one end, there is a gap on the other end.

Spent 30 minutes arguing with the place I bought it from where the guy was saying it must be my truck. I measured the bed length at 78.5 inches with bed liner. Ford spec says 78.8. Tonneau only measures 78.5 from end of seal time end of seal. To me that seems short, right? I would think if bed is 78.5, seals should be at least 80 so there is something overlap no?

Called extang and they made them reluctantly order a replacement, but I am worried this one will be short too.

Curious if you have any pictures? Is the front of your bed bowed slightly towards the cab?

It measures 78.5 all the way across, so no substantial bowing. Anyone have pictures of theirs installed? A tailgate seal and cab seal would be great.

Yeah, I've got one too and I had the same problem. I pretty much just try to center it up when I put it on. I only see moisture on the inside when we get really heavy rain. I wish I would've just spent the extra money and gotten a hard cover. Oh well.
