Hmmm. You know, I don't much care for that style. Someone else will love them though.

They are decent looking but far inferior to a retrofit as far as performance goes.

These U-Bar makes them totally cool! Plus they give you the same brightness as the factory ones, but the beam is more focused which gives you a better projection.

Not for me, too much going on. Needs to be clean and simple.

I agree Darren, just have the two projectors, two U's and the side reflector. That should give it that clean but efficient look.

I hate aftermarket headlights, but these are the best looking of them, IMO.

Still barely less expensive than paying someone to do a retrofit for you though.

I think I figured out why I don't care for the U bar halos... They look like they belong on a Chevy... Like the taillights on the recent model Camaro...

Yea I would say these are better than the Recon headlights, those have way to much going on in there. Their tail lights aren't bad though...

Hey folks, we really appreciate your feedback. By the way a lot of our clients looking for match and the tail lights is pretty good option. For example those:

AnzoŽ - Black LED Tail Lights http://www.carid.com/2004-ford-f-150...-15320082.html

AnzoŽ - Clear LED Tail Lights http://www.carid.com/2004-ford-f-150...-15320196.html

AnzoŽ - Red/Clear LED Tail Lights http://www.carid.com/2004-ford-f-150...-15320264.html

What do you think?

Carid,

For what it's worth, and mind you, everyone has their own taste, but I personally like the look of the Spec-D Black Halo Projectors with LEDs.

Not sure about the quality of them. I know my OEM lamp assemblies are leaking now. I could clean them up and reseal them, but they are also hazed and no amount of cleaning / polishing is fixing them to where I need to be... These are on my short list. Not sure if I am going to grab the lights first, or the wheel well to wheel well step bars first...

I think those red/clear tails look pretty good.

The Spyder Red / Clear LED tails look pretty good to me. I am not a huge fan of the total smoke out look, or clear tail lenses, a subtle smokeout looks good though...

The biggest question is, what is the quality like on these units? How hard are they to install?

^ I think those are what Darren has, and he likes them. Had them for at least 2 years now I think.

I personally think Anzo should not put things out for our trucks, their tail lights are the most hideous ones I have ever seen. I personally hate multiple beam halos. If it was one big bi-xenon projector it would work.

Yep! Mine are heavy smoked with paint and clear coat too. Nice and black, yet light can easily transmit. All the lights work great, and the fit and finish is acceptable for aftermarket.
