I've searched and read for hours.............. seems many have replaced these....... I found 1 place where 1 person mentioned .
I found them at Rockauto and Amazon.

Is there a Motocraft part??
(if there is I can't find it)

I also read where this VCT solenoid has been redesigned from the original.

So.... what is the redesign part #???

Is it a motorcraft part that is redesigned??
Is the Dorman #917200 a redesigned part??

its been superseded at least twice by ford. do not cheap out if your about to replace them. stick with ford. if its 5.4 especially.

For others that may find this, here ya go.......

VCT Solenoid part # = 8L3Z-6M280-B
Gasket part # = 3L3Z-6C535-AA

I did not locate at rockauto or other parts suppliers..... I ordered from Tasca parts.

This is the redesigned VCT Solenoid that has become available the past few years.
