starting issue

Truck has 107k on it and for the last week a couple times when I start it, she starts and continues to try and keep turning over. Any ideas?

Lol, WD40 is not the answer to either of the potential causes I listed. You can have a starter/alternator shop fix the sticking bendix for minimal cost, depending on what's wrong. The ignition cylinder would likely need to be replaced or cleaned. Most of them have sensitive electronics (anti-theft) built into them, so I wouldn't go spraying anything into it. You need to do some more diagnosis when the problem occurs to tell what the issue is.

I'm not familiar with this truck enough yet to know if it has some oddball setup for the starter circuit, but my guess for any vehicle would be the starter solenoid is sticking. I would start with the cheap and easy before getting into all the high tech parts.
