I have the opportunity to purchase some king ranch seats at an excellent price. Has anyone tried to fit the crew cab rear folding bench in an extended cab? I normally wouldn't attempt to do this, but the price is right, and ive always loved the KR leather

 

I'm not 100% positive, but I don't think there's a difference in the ExCab/Screw seats, bolt pattern is the same, it's just the amount of leg room that differs.

 

As long as its from an 04-08 King Ranch it will fit. You'll just lose some rear seat leg room, also the scab fronts have the seat belt integrated into the seat back itself whereas the screws have them mounted on the B pillar.

My advice, peel the leather off the front backrest on the KR seats and cut a hole in them to clear the seat belt and reinstall them on your scab frames. The bottom cushion is just four nuts and you can swap it over. The entire back seat is a bolt-in.

I looked at the seats, they were far beyond repair. They have been in storage for years and were full of mold and mildew. Not to mention it looked like a rat was gnawing on some parts of the driver seat. More headache than it was worth

 

That is a real shame. Those beautiful castino leather seats.... Damn.

 

That is a shame. Should've known better, peeled the covers off, and kept them in a house closet or something.
