Running Boards

Picked up a 2008 XLT SuperCrew last week with 5500 miles on it. An Ole USAF guy used it to pull his boat to the lake when he was down for the summer. Its in nearly perfect condition.

So I need running boards and I found a set (FORD OEM) on Craigslist that a guy pulled off his 2012 F150 SuperCrew. Question is... will these fit on my truck?

Not 100 %, but I would think you have a better chance than not when it comes to them fitting. I drive a 2007 Supercrew with the OEM running boards, but I have a buddy that recently bought nerf bars for his 2011 SuperCrew FX4 and they appear to bolt on in roughly the same spot. Like I said, I could be wrong but hopefully this jumpstarts the discussion and leads to a definitive answer.

Yeah. They are just wider. I have stock OEM boards on my 08' that are 4". On the newer trucks they are a lot nicer, either 5" or 6". You can go on Ford's website and find them to fit on your truck.
