A little bio and question:
I am the original owner of a 2007 f150 5.4L 4x4, crew cab, lariat, 6.5 box, with about 37k. Recently this became my daily driver so I figured to get some mods to improve mpg as I was only running about 11 to 13 in city and maybe 15 on the freeway.
I was able to get a great cyber monday deal on auto anything, and acquired a edge evo tuner/banks intake and monster exhaust. Since then I have seen some improvements when running 89, and 91, with about 13 to 15 in the city and 17 to 20ish on the freeway while running on level 2 and/or 3 on the evo.
With that being said here is my question: what setting, adjustments should I make to my evo (or anything else) to make it the best daily driver? (all city stop and go driving for the most part now.)
Thanks for your advice.

Sad...it's like no one reads the posts anymore. None of the above answered your question. You got some good stuff there already. You got a deal on the EVO. Nice! The first thing you want to do is get on board with PHP and get your Evo converted to a Gryphon. Pay to get some custom tunes made that incorporate your new mods. PHP has some great tunes that you can download to your Gryphon once they are completed. It can take some time to get the custom tunes from them but they are well worth it. The new tunes will change the way your truck runs and more often than not it will be for the better.
Is there certain things on my evo that I can adjust to make it a better daily driver? Timing etc? I am not looking for super performance or any thing like that, just a good functioning daily driver with increased mpg.
None of the above answered your question.
where would I get in contact with php

To be honest I wouldn't mess with anything other than what tune you want to run (87 mileage/87 perf/91 perf/etc). Messing with shift points and other parameters usually ends up doing more harm than good. Get in contact with PowerHungryPerformance as was mentioned (they have a website), and get the unit converted to a Gryphon w/custom tuning if you want any other gains. As was mentioned, some of the Edge programmers would cause a lean condition depending on the intake setup. You can grenade an engine fairly quickly by running lean, so I'd take it easy.
If you're running an 87 tune, and using a higher octane, you can bump the timing. Check your manual, Ive forgotten the number. You can also adjust the shift pressure for firmer shifts. That is about it other than making sure you enter the correct tire size, and gear ratio.

There is absolutely no danger to bumping timing if you are running excessive octane. In fact, it's a good thing. As I recall, it's .5 for each 2 octane. So, if you are using 89 on an 87 tune, then you're safe to bump .5. It's also no problem in adding shift firmness in reason. I liked mine at plus 6 above the canned tune but I like firmer shifts than most. As I said before, make double sure you have the right gears programmed and the correct tire size.

If they do that, they can't follow instructions. The manual clearly states that you need to bump it .5 for each 2 octane above what the tune calls for. If they do something that goofy, they probably don't need to be trying to download tunes and operate a tuner.
