2004 F150 SuperCrew Cab 4x4 XLT. V8 5.4L with 130,000 miles a good deal?

So i'm looking into buying a 2004 F150 SuperCrew Cab 4x4 XLT. V8 5.4L Triton engine. My only hesitation is that it has 130,000 miles on it. However, it is well taken care of. The guy who owns it now replaced the intake manifold, belts, spark plugs, catalytic converters, brakes, and rotors. He added 3" dual catback Magnaflow Exhaust, high performance computer chip and aftermarket intake for better gas milage. Should I be worried that it has 130,000 miles? Or can it last me another 100,000?
Thanks!

Maintenance is key but even then you always could have a failure of some kind. Any other motor work done phasers, chains, etc? What's the asking price?

in all honesty that was the first year of the 3v engine and they can last or not.. I think 130k for that engine is high. Whats the guy want for it?

Saying it's mostly highway miles doesn't mean crap. Private party, that thing needs to be around 8 at least.

10k is right around private party book. Listen carefully for engine noises - injectors can tick a bit, but any other ticking can be valvetrain related and not good for the long haul.

Merged 3 threads as only one per subject is allowed. Causes too much confusion for posters.

Thanks

Its a high mileage truck you take a gamble on any high mileage vehicle. There are tons of f150s out there with this motor some last some aren't going too. Like stated above check it over real good for noises and typical issues found on these trucks. If you can afford to spend more look for a newer one with less miles.
