Hi folks, I am the new owner of an '05 F150 XLT SCAB Towing package. I ordered the towing mirrors to replace the standard one that did not have the puddle lamps or turn signal. the new ones do. I need some help with this.

Two questions:

Can the correct door harness be gotten ? what are the part numbers?

If not were can you get the connectors to make the existing harness correct?

Don't think you can buy the harness. I put tow mirrors on my 05 yrs ago. What you'd probably have to do is find the correct turn signal wire under the drivers side door threshold and tap into that. Then find the correct pin to put it in. I put clearance lights on the outside edge of my mirrors so I just tapped into my parking light wire. Sorry can't help you much but there is a thread out there about 15 pages long which will tell you most of what you need to know.

 

You just have to rearrange the pins to make this:

And locate anything that isn't wired up into the harness already.
