If I had done that, I wouldn't have had the issue I did. Dang directions had me installed brackets first! Oh well, all is great now! Love seeing the look on peoples faces when you get out at a gas station. haha

Looks good Brent.. I'm surprised you didn't go for trim strips with all your chrome. Enjoy, and welcome to the club!

Are they factory from Amp? If so id give them a call. I saw your video and it looks like you have the older version without the 2 second delay so it might not be wired for the LEDs either My guess is your probably going to need a newer harness that already has the wires for the LEDs pre wired in the loom. Then you'll most likely also need a new controller to recognize the lights and delayed closing feature.

Those look real good. What kinda weight rating is on them? I've been thinking about getting these but I'm just leery of them being solid because the are a little thin and I'm a bigger guy.

They're rated up to 600 lbs per side. I'm around 195 and I can jump on them almost and they barely even flex. They are ribbed inside for strength.

They sound good to me then. Think I should start saving up for these.

"Bigger guy" doesn't sound very ninja-like Those crazy 120 pound little suckers with feather-light footsteps
