One of the many sounds of my truck WITH VIDEO!!!

I know normally people come in here asking about help with their ticking noise. Oh I am doing that as well but I have a video. Now keep in mind this was done with a cell phone. The "ticking" or "knocking" noise you hear in the video is what I am wondering about. I dont know if this is cam phaser or vcts or what. Thanks for the look and listen.

Sounds like it could be an exhaust leak, but it should get a little softer once the truck is warmed up.

could also be a bearing knock, kinda hard to figure it out over a video

Bearing noise would be in the "bottom end" inside the engine.

When its not raining Im going to make another video outside of the garage as it is hard to tell what is what with all the echoing and such. I got up under the truck on Saturday while I was getting my HFC's put on. I had the exhaust guy look and he couldnt tell where it was coming from but he didnt think it was the exhaust manifold. I do know that some of you have ask if it gets quieter after it gets warm. It doesnt and its the same volume whether its warm or cold but when I rev up the engine it gets faster.

Update: I just finally gave in and took the thing to get looked at. After a while of checking everything my fears were true. It is in fact a lash adjuster and does need to be replaced....it looks like parts and labor are going to be right at $700. Considering I havent even had this truck 20k miles or a year it seems like its gonna a joy to own.
