Official What Did You Do WITH Your Truck Today Thread.

Lets hear how you used your trucks today. Doesn't matter if you went to get groceries or pulled a house off its foundation. Maybe you hauled yourself to the office or hauled a load of hay. . . . . . and if its really impressive, show us pics or it didn't happen!

Took the truck hunting today and did a little offroading, didn't get any blood on it though. But I did get 15.2 MPG, which I don't think I have ever seen with my truck even when I had smaller tires on it.

Bed linerd my chrome running boards with rustoleum in a can. A lot of sanding and prep work. I couldn't get the plastic steps off either . They'll go back on in a few days. Bull ring tie downs go on tomorrow after work. My pictures won't load from my phone. I'll update my album later. Have a good one fellow ford members!!

2 weeks ago I washed, garaged, and waxed it. Just today is the first I started it since, took it for a 15 mile spin. Did a peel out and enjoyed a small cruise. Its back in the garage tonight for a few more weeks.

Weather is turning foul in the Houston metro area today, so left the Saturn in the drive and took the truck into work. Kind of glad I did, had an altercation with a rabbit in the fog that would have caused damage to the Satty... The truck didn't suffer so much as a cracked lens or even a scratch...

A friend gave me a ride to my truck in his Raptor. That thing is sweet. Weather was crap so I decided to have a bit of fun. Rode around town looking for places to get her dirty and have fun and did a bit. Kinda hard to do in the burbs. Hopefully he and I go trail riding sometime. Good tier thread to.

I've been towing my boat every morning since Friday and will be towing it till Sunday. Truck pulls it great.

Went to start it today for the first time since the previous two weeks, dead battery. Should have known better with the cold weather here and an original 2007 motorcraft battery. Put it in neutral and man-lugged it out the garage and jump started it with my Cavalier. Let it run for 10 minutes and backed it in garage before shutting down, disconnected battery terminals so I lessen the chance of redoing this next time.

Shot this cold idle exhaust video also.

It's barely cold down here, but I make sure to start mine every day at least once. Pretty darn good for a 7 year old battery! My 06 has had at least 3, if not 4. Current one is 6 weeks old.
