I did a set of 2002-2005 Dodge Ram 1500 lights a little while back. They came out looking great!

-Morimoto Mini H1 Projectors
-Satin Black Reflector Bowls
-Gatling Gun 2.0 Shrouds - Satin Black
-Morimoto 3Five Ballasts
-Morimoto 3Five 6000K Bulbs
-White XB LED Angel Eyes

Those didn't have the bubble lens? For what ever reason the dodge rams with bulb lens distort the output.

The output wasn't distorted whatsoever with these. It worked out great.

Yes they were and Yes i do. I don't think I have one set of anything and what's wrong with 2

I retrofitted my first set myself with eBay headlights and FXR 1.1's. Wasn't to happy with the quality of the headlights to be honest.

This time around I thought I'd have Sammy do a set for me useing new Oem heads and FXR 3.0 w/3" lenses that I sent him. Should be a nice upgrade from what I had.

Weird. Guys over at HIDP were having problems with them getting distorted because of the bubble lens. Glad you didn't have any problem tho.

Not yet. I've been staying busy with other things for now. They're probably going to get some LS460 Bi-Xenon projectors when it's time to work on them though.

Gotcha! I was like what the hell is he getting more for? I'm sure they'll be a good upgrade too! A retrofit is something I only ever want to do once though.

What did those new OEM head run you? My eBays have been pissing me off with light condensation in one after I completely resealed it and pressure washed it to test it, but then it came back a few weeks later. I think it's maybe my light plug not sealing properly.

Well hopefully when you retro them you keep them for yourself.. They'd look great on your truck.

You can get Oem's on eBay for roughly $300 a pair from Tasca. If you keep your eyes peeled you can find some dealers selling them individually for slightly cheaper. For example I scored 1 for $120 shipped. Just keep looking till you find a deal you can't pass up.

Thanks for the tips. It does bug me that the eBays aren't perfect, just have to do decide if they $300 annoy me haha
