Hypertech max power programmer

I'm looking at a hypertech max power programmer for my 07 5.4, been surfing crapslist looking for whats around for cheap and I'm considering this unit. Any thoughts, opinions or negativity towards hypertech's programmer?

I think someone on here bought one just to show what was in it. The only thing in it was a resistor. If you're looking to enhance your performance and stuff you're better off spending more money and getting a tuner instead. Jet performance chips are just the same. They are both P.O.S. I would save my money if I were you.

hypertech is garbage. save your money for other things or save up and get quality tunes. trust me. the guy i bought my truck from included a brand new, unopened one with my truck (not a clue why?) and i sold it on craigslist the next day.

Stick with SCT or Diablo, those can be custom tuned. Canned tunes from anyone are a crapshoot.
