Did your truck come with the bumper white already?

My truck did come with my bumper pad and grill surround already painted white. I'm possibly going to have to get custom leaf springs made to how tall I want them because mine have worn unevenly and are kinda lopsided. I'm very particular about the rear being higher and I like 1-1.5" of rake, so I'll definitely be adding an add-a-leaf at a least. Thanks for the advice!

That looks great! I can't even tell that it's a different color You literally just removed the "work truck" look from the truck entirely! How do you like it? And how many coats on the bumper did you get with that one can? I'm more inclined to do my chrome bumpers now.

No problem man. Thanks alot, I really like it totally gives it a different look I also removed that ugly fake chrome trim along the edges ill post a new side shot at some point today. I placed 5 coats and literally at the end of the 5th the can went empty so I was really lucky, I was really thinking about doing my chrome bumper as well I'm not sure how it would match to the rear though wondering if I'd have to do the front and rear hmm.

I'm going to do both of mine, front and rear, at some point because I think they both need to be done to look right. It's more than cheap enough to do everything! I'm glad you like it.

Just so you can put pics on here, go in your album and click on an individual picture, then below the picture it will say "Picture URL." Copy the URL and then come back to this screen. In the "Quick Reply" box, there are 7 icons in the top left corner of the text box. Click on the one second from the right (which says "insert image" when you put your cursor over it; it's yellow and has a mountain on it), then paste the URL directly into that. Then you're done and the pic should pop up. If you can't get it to work, just let me know and I'll post them on here for you.

I use an iPhone for this won't let me copy the URL..oh well. When you do complete your front and rear I'd like to see it right away for sure!! My pictures are turned sideways as well which I don't understand why.

Well, I forgot how to do other people's pics, but I at least posted the links. Looks much better without that tacky chrome molding. I've never been able to get anything done with my iPhone. Will do though! I just need to get around to actually doing it. I don't know how long I'll leave it once it's on though

I hope it does. I still can't decide whether I want to do PTM bumpers or replacement steel ones for the long term. PTM looks much cleaner, the steel ones are a lot more "badass" but I don't like how they look.

I'd have to agree with you on that although if you get into an accident it means zero damage for whomever is rocking steel bumpers.

I'd just do the PTM. The big steel bumpers mostly look ridiculous on the F-150 (or any other 1/2 ton). Unless you have a habit of running into things with your truck, I'd save the money and just PTM the stock bumper.

I like how some of them look (VERY few), but I agree. But PTM isn't really a mod and it'll annoy me unless the paint is a 99% perfect match. I think a big lift is necessary for steel ones for sure

I can agree on the big lift. It really takes a truck lifted with larger than 35" tires for me to think it doesn't look out of place. Put that same bumper on a SuperDuty with 33's or 35's and it looks just fine.

Definitely agree. The next very-high-dollar mod is gonna have to be a lift for me. I don't wanna drop lift money on anything else, again! Lol
