Centric Brakes

After reading a number of testimonials on this site and others, I am down to 2 choices for new front rotors/pads on my 2005 STX 4wd -- Motorcraft and Centric. I am leaning towards the Centrics.

Question is, are the left and right front rotors the same, Amazon only shows one part number -- 120.65100. Also, I am leaning towards the ceramic pads from Centric (105.10110 rather than the semi-metallics).

Your views on Ceramics vs. SMs?

Thanks.

Hi there,

I ordered ttwo of these kits and couldn't be happier
Centric Parts 120.65128 Premium Brake Rotor with E-Coating : Amazon.com : Automotive Centric Parts 120.65128 Premium Brake Rotor with E-Coating : Amazon.com : Automotive

honestly, I am a die-hard Amazon user and nowadays, they beat nearly every retailer. With my prime account I always get the cheapest prices which is great. I have semi-metallics and am very happy with their performance. The ceramic I think stop a bit better under higher loads. Can't really go wrong with either.

I had the OEM fronts replaced on mine at 65k with Centric Posi-Quiet rotors and ceramic pads, they now have 105k on them and still pass safety inspection. They have been quiet, smooth, and virtually dustless.

Thanks for the input. Sounds good. Are left and right front rotors (4x4) the same part?

I think so as the kit part number is the same for both sides
