Mirror Compatibility

I tried searching but didn't come up with anything. The LH mirror in my 06 STX needs replaced. It currently has the signal mirror. What year models will interchange? Will the 09+ fit on there?

'04/'06 are differently worked than '07/'13. Pins need swapped around.

Hey long time no see.

I loved it, but was tired of the car payment. Sold it and bought this 06 with the profit I made. Now car payment free and can do some mods to it.

Is there a write up anywhere on swapping the pins or would it be easier just to cut the connector from one in the salvage yard?

I believe it is only one pin that needs to be swapped, so much easier to do that than cut and rewire. I know what needs to be done has been explained in the 04-08 forum before. Try searching to see if you can find it.

Here is one thread that goes through the process, there is probably more.

I searched on mirror pin.

I searched and found this thread which has answered the will 09 mirrors fit an 04 question.

But will the glass interchange between mirrors? we have an 04 with good glass and a bad housing, and i found a set of 09's with bad glass and good housings for what i think is a very good price. So if someone could tell me if the glass will swap between housings i would appreciate it!
