Truck shuddering possible misfire on freeway
I am glad you think so, hopefully the problem is gone for good. Looking forward to hearing back from the others.
Question, now that I have replaced them without breaking any. And applied the anti seize, do I have any need for this tool to remove broken plugs? I can probably still return it, just wondering if there is any value to keeping it.
I got a quote from 3 different dealers because I can't have my truck down for days if most of them break. Dealer one- 275 +75 for each broken plug. Dealer two- 450 +100. Dealer 3- 200 +40. Obviously going with number 3 but it is crazy the difference between dealers 20 miles from each other.
Hey Fellas,
The co-owner and the lead mechanic called me this morning after they both took the truck for a ride. They got it to reproduce the hiccups during the test ride. The co-owner's first thought was trans issue, maybe empty-flush-replace fluid. The lead mechanic said plugs. I said have the owner drive it when he gets in and call me. They checked the FPDM and it looked o.k.
He called after lunch and said no doubt the plugs are the issue. I said go ahead and git r done! They will heat her up good, spray her down like a $4 hooker and let her soak overnight. More to follow.

I went ahead with the Transmission flush and Lucas trans treatment as well. I am very satisfied with how she ran when I mashed the pedal to merge on I95 heading to the gym from the shop.

The only thing I noticed was that darn steering wheel nibble was back between 60-70 mph, but flattened out at 75-80mph. They put her back on the alignment rack again during this service, cause the steering wheel didn't line up. I'll give them a call tomorrow morning.
