Up date on my truck/Build.

Okay so it has been a while since i have had an update with my truck. I have been working on my e39 M5 so haven't had much time for the truck. I have a list of things i will be doing to it pretty soon and just wanted to share. I have changed the look a little bit since anyone has seen it last. I painted the grill white to match and took off my light bar painted the bed rails and windshield wiper covers gloss black. I will be painting the mirrors soon and i also have plans to lift it 6 inches with icon shocks so i can take it out and have fun with it. Already have the tires in storage.

I am going to remove the spare tire mount and custom fab a ice chest in the floor of the bed. Get bed liner and put a bakflip cover on. I have plans to supercharge it and add lockers in the future. I just ordered new magnaflow mufflers for it because right now i have true dual straight pipes from the cats back with a H pipe as it has gotten too loud on long drives.

Feel free to comment and ask questions i might of left things out but will add on as i go.

Now for the pictures!

Love my trucks monotone twin.
Hows the mm 951 holding up to pitting?

Also what crossmember lift you plan on running? I know the ICON struts you'll have to get custom made by them they only offer direct replacements.

Looks great. Exhaust is a little hollow/raspy for my taste, but otherwise not bad. I'd have went with a muffler like a Magnaflow or Borla to even out the tone. Job well done, sir.

I'd be doing the PTM mirror caps before I worried about a sticker.

Haha yeah they are holding up pretty good for the salt air and offroading i have done. How are yours holding up? I have been thinking of getting them refurbished. The lift I'm getting is the BDS lift from trucktoyzstore you can customize it so I'm going to add icon to the list new leaf springs and cant decide if i should do single steering stabilizer or dual. here is the link.

Yeah this will be the third time i change my exhaust. Its too loud for me now and gets annoying. Im going back with magnaflow to quiet it down.

Thanks man i appreciate it! i think I'm going to keep it kind of have a theme going with the sticker like the white and gray badges and I'm going to be doing red brake calipers to tie it all in.

They don't like brake dust. The inner creases of the spokes are getting eaten up but other wise a good wash and polish and theyre looking like new.

I'm planning on having a lift done locally, there is a couple offroad shops and one offers BDS. I've heard the shop will cut you a deal on BDS if they install

Sweet man that will be sweet will you go with a BDS lift? i will just order it because i have a friend that has a shop and he just did a 10 inch lift on his silverado so when i get everything ready for a lift i will just go and do it with him over the weekend. Yeah brake dust was a big problem but i replaced my brakes not too long ago with slotted and drilled rotors and low dust pads that helped. yeah my inner creases are the main part thats bad but they still look great from far away.
