When some of you have resealed with rtv silicone, did you first remove the foam gasket or apply it to the foam?
I changed the blubs, and while I haven't noticed a leak, I figured I'd add some rtv anyway. I applied it to the foam and to the screws and let it set for an hour before putting the housing back on.

Just look into getting a roll of weather stripping and replace the seal on it now with that. Put a dab of Black RTV where the seam is on the bottom and you should be good to go. Thats what I did and my light is still easily removable.

I did the straight RTV thing and wish like heck I didn't. We just had our first rain storm since the reseal job and it didn't work. Now I need to take the *#$% thing off with RTV holding it in place. Will do the weather seal thing. I never thought of that, but yeah, it should work.
