I was running some cb cable and found three wires on the driver side of my f 150 the wire colors are pink/black or pink/violet pink/green and red. All three have a female blade connector on them and i found a black jumper wire next to them and it was not connected. Heres my prb the black jumper will only connecte to two of them idk which two of three to use. the wires are in the floor behind the driver kick plate i can send pics if will help my truck seems to be running fine all lights work even reverse lights no check eng light doors lock fine windows work fine. I can not find no info on it hope some one can help. my truck is a 2004 F 150 5.4 3 V 4 spd trans 3.55 rear diff supercab xlt.

 

What is the purpose of locating these wires, trying to find power for your cb?

 

Oh i understand now, you found three disconnected wires. I won't be of much help there, but when I ran the wires for my amps I didn't see anything like that on my 04. Could have just been my selective vision though. If they are different colors though they are most likely factory and not something someone else added.

 

if you just found them there and not hooked up, odds are they are for an option your truck was built with out. if everything works fine in the truck just leave them alone.

 

The three wires run the length of the truck. all three of them have an in line blade connector on them.I have been working with wires for about 7 years now i have never seen this. I have cb hook up working fine. I am about to move from KS back to OR and i will be towing with my trailer that has a 7 pin connector idk if these three wires will effect it trailer brake controller is installed. The black jumper was connected it was pulled out of the connecter of one the wire had corrosion on it so it has not been installed for a bit. i have not seen no prbs with truck on the elec side of the house. i just dont want to be half way there and have a prb show up you know.
